This advert for mens aftershave puts a woman doing a seductive face pressed against the man which means that the company were trying to convey the message that girls won't be able to get enough of you if you were to were their fragrance. It also shows the man as serious in a suit with a neat beard and he is staring directly at you. the room is dark to convey the musk of the fragrance. Also the use of the caption "The Scent" anchors the fact that this is the aftershave to buy.

This is an advert for shampoo and conditioner the blue of the sky and the dress empowers the blue of the bottle making it look more appealing also how the models hair is waving so unnaturally and how it looks so clean makes people want to look like that. Also how the contrast of desert and water. Also the message os anchored by the use of a caption. The flowers and coconut are emphasised for example the coconut has its milk flying into the air and the flowers drift into the caption.

I think that these adverts may be memorable because of how obscure they are for example the second advert is very strange but memorial. The use of captions to anchor both points.
